Opening of the "Crafts Boutique"<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last Saturday, we had the grand opening of the inclusive Crafts Boutique at our Center. Life always consists of small steps. With the opening of the Crafts Boutique, MASP is taking another small step, and we are happy that we can do it together with you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening the Crafts Boutique is a source of great satisfaction for us, because it is an opportunity to show more people what our guys are worth. How much each of us is worth beyond our own boundaries and characteristics. It is simply amazing. What a wonderful abilities each person has. All that needs to be done is to find someone who can help them realize this and realize the abilities that each of us has. Our guys found those at our Center who looked at them like that, those who are ready to go on a journey with them to grow together, and today we see the result.
So we thank each and every one of you, because in some way you are part of this result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MASP regularly provides assistance to 180 families, distributing food, diapers and medicine. In recent months, we have stopped supporting some families because their situation has improved. In this way, we have been able to support new children who have found themselves in a very difficult situation. The help of those who support us in distributing food and maintaining relationships with families is very important, such as @avsi_foundation<\/a>, @abis.group<\/a> And @abilavil<\/a> l, @walksafari_kz<\/a> And @nailya_islamova<\/a>, as well as other people who donate food through the Food Bank initiative. Also important is the help of those who bring us used clothes that we can distribute to those in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These small and big gestures help us in our daily work, give families hope, help them feel important for someone, and therefore, over time, return their lives to normal. Everyone can take part in this project by supporting it financially, giving a little of their time or even just telling new people about it. The fact that every child, every person is of great value accompanies us in this small attempt to help those who need it most and gives us a great desire to strive to make the world a little more beautiful for everyone, every day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anya<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anya is a girl who has been coming to our center for many years. She came here at the age of 5\/6, and now she is 22 years old. She comes from an ordinary family, consisting of her, her parents and her brother. They love her very much, although it was not easy to accept her specialness: Anya was born with Down syndrome and mild cognitive delay. Before her birth, her parents did not know about this fact, so it was an unexpected surprise for them. Like all children with special needs, she studied at a boarding school: a special school for all people with disabilities, but who are able to learn. Initially, Anya came to our center for consultations, where she was observed by a psychologist and a speech therapist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, at the age of 16\/17, she started attending our sewing and cooking courses. Five years ago, Anya started working at our center: she sews towels, bakes cookies and bread. By this time, she has become a young woman, independent, self-confident and able to communicate with other people. Previously, this was difficult for her, she often broke down or cried, but now she has found people who have helped her love herself. The job, even if small, allows her to go out, have friends and something to do during the day. This is something that not all children with special needs like her have in Kazakhstan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, our association MASP has grown: at first, our center accepted only orphans and children in difficult situations, and only after a large number of children with special needs appeared, we opened professional courses for them, adapting them according to their abilities and needs. Therefore, if we had not met these guys with such a great need, our Association would not have become what it is today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
